Where the heck does the time go...I can't believe I haven't been here since April, I bet Marjo is laughing her butt off at me when she reads this haha...I really should frequent this place more often, but who has the time I ask you :)

Ok, want to show you what I been up to...We StitchyBear Digital Stamps are being published in this really cool magazine from across the pond...It's called

PAPERCRAFT ESSENTIALS

and it's a really cool magazine...anyway, we One Stitch At A Time, decided we should have a contest...instead of me typing it all in, coz we know I hate to type, takes me months sometimes to type something out haha

Ok got all that read now? Gonna be really cool...I got both of the magazines in the mail and let me tell you, that magazine is chocked full of goodies, even got some card stock papers and some rubber stamps :)...

That really got me in the mood to start learning again, so I been waiting til 2am (only coz I am on that silly satellite and can't watch YouTube without draining my bandwidth any other time of the day haha) and I been saving a bunch of tuts on how to do this and that...Also been hitting every yard sale from miles around gathering goodies haha...I could probably open a craft store for cards by now with all the stuff I got...

Ok, also wanted to show you what I finished and put in the store today...it's not much, I got so much other stuff going on in my life right now, my drawing is taking 2nd place for the first time in two years now lol..not funny at all, I really miss it..anyway, what you think

It's not much, called Love's Garden, but I am fascinated with spoon dolls, my sis made me an angel one time and I always loved them...so thought I would draw one lol...

Well guess it's time to move on to something else, hope it's not another 4 months before I get back in here...I came to post some cool candy from She Stamps / Cheryl - she is giving away a "how to" book and some copics...I still haven't cracked mine open, but I'm gettin real close now haha

Can't believe ~~spring~~ winter break is almost over lol...we had more snow this spring break than we had on winter break, what is up with that MS Mother Nature??? It's been so miserable here in New York, between the cloudy snowy days and the kid's with nothing to do, Yikes, I can't wait to go back to school haha..NOT!!!

Well here it is Good Friday already..I did manage to get a new skin on the front of the store...If you haven't checked it out yet, go see it HERE and tell me what you think??? It's not finished yet, I have a lot of touching up to do on it...But I have been learning how to move files around and install new mods and well, Jess and I have been having a ball lol..Oh did I mention that Sue and I have taken on a new partner in crime?? Jess is our newest member to the admin team at SBDS ;) Yayyy Jess...she already does so much for me, I just had to promote her :)...Besides being there for me all the time, she has become such a special friend...

So welcome aboard Jess, hope you realize what your getting into hahahaha...

Sorry don't have any new previews for you today, been to busy to really make anything new, well I did make a few new, but not had a chance to get in store yet...so they aren't even previewed yet haha..**note to self - can't sell anything if you don't get it in the store dummy** :)..

Wanted to let you all know that we are doing a special Easter sale at the store this week...since we been doing our weekly newsletter, we don't have any sales going on except for the "spotlight creator" in the newsletter. We have done a whole rotation of creator's and before starting out our next rotation, I thought we should all have a quickie sale and what better time than Easter...so go and check it out...as the emails come in, I am adding the sales...so keep checking back ...

Another Sunday Another Challenge at OSAAT :)

Well here it is already another Sunday, boy are they flying by, but that is ok, yesterday it was a whopping 65° in sunny New York :)...I started my long overdue spring cleaning and then even sat down and did up some new stamps...I will show ya in a minute or two, after I done gabbin' here haha...

First I want to tell ya, alot of my DT are spreading wings and taking on new adventures, so we have almost a whole new crew over at OSAAT...stop by and give them a warm welcome would ya...and say farewell to the ever so talented girls that are leaving...I am really gonna miss everyone of them ;(...

Oh yeah, we are midway through the month too, so don't forget to get in on the cool collab the creator's done for April - theme is Mother's Day / Babies how appropriate to put them two together huh lol...We have a special guest for next week's challenge, be sure to stop by and see who it is...the girl's were very excited to do these digi's up :)...

And please tell me, exactly, where does the week's go?? Wow, they are just flying by so fast it's un-natural lol...well this week our lovely Deborah has chosen to get messy haha...Glitter's and Gem's is the theme and can you believe Rebekah, she made a male card out of glitter's and gem's and it's absolutely gorgeous haha..All the cards were amazing this week as they are every other week (am I boasting here a bit, hehe in one word YES) haha..

Don't forget we got that beautiful collab still up for grabs for another few week's and as I said, be sure to get it as the week's are just flying by...Even if you miss it for free, it will still be in the store for sale at such a low price, will be well worth the get :)..Oh you want to see it, well ask no further, here it is, just click the pic and away you go :)

Hello Fellow Crafters :)..

It's Saturday afternoon here in New York and I am just settling down to play on the computer after a long day of "mommy com'ere and huni do this and go to the store we need and...." well you get the picture...Now they are all in watching Anger Management and I am sitting here getting ready to ~~play~~ create haha..

Weekend Already???

Holy Crap!!! Where did this week go already??? I honestly can't believe it's Saturday already and tomorrow is a new challenge over at OSAAT They say *whoever they are haha* Time flies when your having fun...well *they* lied to me this time...This week has been the furthest thing from fun that I could even imagine!!!

First off, been waiting for a full time position at the bus garage for 5 years now..yep FIVE big ones...I love my job, love the kid's, should actually be writing a book of day to day life while driving school bus..these kid's, well some of them, are the most comical, talented, amazing people I have ever met. Well this part of my life could be coming to an end by June if things don't change there...There have been 3 job postings go to the board in the past 3 years and my John Hancock has been on every single one of them...only to be passed by all 3 times ;(...TO A MAN!!! What you think about that...I drive tractor trailer cross country for 15 + years, starting out on my own then doing with my better half...so scratch the idea that I can't handle a big ole yellow bus forward and backward...and any other way that you want me too :)...so that couldn't possibly be the reason that I didn't get the job AGAIN!!! Never had an accident in the bus, never hurt any kids' on the bus, never drove while being intoxicated **like so many others' do shamefully** Hell I don't even drink!!! Never done any of those things that you would think would keep you from getting a full time position, but yet, I am turned down again for this job???? I shower daily, well almost every day haha..brush my teeth and comb my hair, why tell me why please can I not land a job with actual benefits for me and my family???

Let me see 3 years ago, it was "You don't have enough experience" This MAN has been driving bus for a long time - found out that was a lie!!! He was even a sub at the time of hire, I was a union paying part timer!!! Now 2 years ago, while sitting on pins and needles just knowing that this was finally my time, another MAN got the job...Of course I had more seniority than him, he just came there a year before that and just 4 months prior to that became part time??? Now this last time, even after being TOLD TO MY FACE, that the next full time position would be mine...NOT, guess what, 3 guesses and the first two don't count...You guessed it, yet another MAN got the position...Now I tell you, I know I'm 55 years old, but I honestly didn't think that I was still living in 1955...What the hell is this world coming to I ask you...It just so happens we have one hell of a union president now and she has been fighting for me the whole way...I think haha...but I am really going to put her to the test on this one, because after 5 years of not backing down *which everyone that I talked to including my husband said - you got more will power than me, I would have never lasted this long* that HAS to account for something, could it be I LOVE MY JOB WOMEN, GIVE ME WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE...I will keep you posted on the outcome of this...this last time I was told that she is just not COMFORTABLE with me..now mind you, she is comfortable enough for me to drive 4.75 hours a day with her precious kids, but 5 hours *which is a full time position* no that can never happen, that is way to much in her comfort zone...

Give me your thoughts on this mini book lol..any suggestions what I might do next??? I am already filing a grievance which hasn't even been started yet, but in my mind...

Ok, enough of that, only breaks my heart to even think about it anymore...

Tuesday Already????

OMG what happened to Monday, got right away from me haha...Well after that game on Sunday ;( I sorta ~~slept~~ hibernated for a bit haha...Nah, it was a really good game, guess that is why they call it the SUPERBOWL haha..well anyway, Monday I went back to work at the bus garage..kids were for the most part happy to see me, til I started yelling at them again then they was like, don't you have somewhere else to be now :)...

Anyway, after I got home and ate dinner, watched a movie with hubby and son and at 8pm I was like, why bother, let's go to bed NOW haha...so off I went and slept like a baby I did...Woke up about 4am to find snow everywhere...so sat down and started making a freebie for this Sunday's Birthday Bash and before I knew it was time to go and clean off the car..Just as I got up, phone rings....now this can't be good, someone calling me at 6am...**always worried about that dreaded Pittsburgh call, since mum is 90 this year** anyway, whew, was not Pgh, was school saying stay in bed for 2 more hours there is a delay today...well hell, just call the dam day off I say haha...I could use ONE MORE DAY PLEASE :)...but nooooooo screw me all up with this time change now...so anyway...that's it for today..

Now I am off to go fight the blinding snow devils and get them ~~brats~~ lovely children off to school safely coz that is what I do :)...

SuperBowl Sunday - Finally Here GO STEELERS

Wow can't believe it, Super Bowl Sunday is here...in just one half hour the game will start and I am all ready for it...showered, got clothes ready for work tomorrow (can't believe my vacation is over already haha) and my attendance sheet is printed out...everything by the door so all I have to do is wake up, grab my tea and decide what I want to draw before I go haha...here is what I done this weekend..

That one is called Sunday Morn, don't even ask me why coz I won't be able to tell ya...and I did another one of those crazy kid ones...this one is called "the boys" haha - what ya think?

In honor of the SuperBowl Bonna / Kelley Kid's has made the cutest lil guy in a football outfit, so friggin cute he is...you can get him free..thanks Bonna your a sweetie :)...

Ok, game is fixin' to start here real soon and I wanna get a good seat :)...so I will be back tomorrow to tell ya all about my first day back to school...bet that is gonna be a long post haha...

Well I finally did it, got a new blog skin (sorry Deb) the bears were just to much for me haha...I never really been a bear person anyway...It's sorta like, either your a dog or a cat person, really hard to be both haha..Not alot going on today, went to doc's yesterday and he she released me to go back to work on Monday...Yikes, I don't even remember all my kids names on the bus anymore haha...

For those of you that didn't know, I ~~fell~~ kiss the freakin' ground with my middle finger yep, right hand and that is what I am :(...bent that baby the whole way back to kiss my wrists THE WRONG WAY!!! I never felt such pain in all my days alive...got the ring finger too but that didn't break, only my smiling finger haha...so here I am 2 weeks before Christmas with my middle finger sticking straight up with a big ole silver splint on it haha...Guess I didn't have to voice how I felt about it, let my finger do all the talking for me hehe...

So anyway, it's still really stiff and I have learned how to type without it now after 6 weeks of not using it, so I guess I don't really need it to much haha...Other than that, been working on tomorrow's big post for the challenge blog...got everything ready to go, except of course for the winner's coz last week's challenge isn't done yet..

So, that's all I'm writing for today, coz I got yet another stamp in the works and want to get it finished and in the shop before midnight tonight...Tomorrow is all booked up, once I get the new challenge well on it's way, it's sit and relax on my last day home and gear up for watching the Steeler's send them packer's packin'

Cameron's Challenge

The reason for this Rainbow challenge is in honor of a very special little guy named Cameron.

The beautiful backing paper and rainbow element is from one of my own creator's in the store, the awesome Oase and you can find her designing under the name Panda Bear Designs

She is our newest team member to our ever growing creator list :)...Check out all her beautiful digital scrapkit's, make your mouth water they do lol...roses are just some Wally World stash I had and I made the silhouette from one of none other than Funky's posers lol...was one of her freebie (thank you Funky) The circle sentiment is another one of our newest creator's in the store Ula designing under the name Ula's Crea Well Ula's circle sentiment's are so cool and come in very handy to help you spruce up your creations...

Okay, guess I stalled long enough, now don't expect to much okay please lol

Good Evening everyone...

Well spent another glorious day at Wally World lol..didn't get to much for me this time...hubby got a set of tools and exchanged a couple pairs of jeans, my daughter got a shaver and looked at camera's but still didn't see anything she liked..don't matter to her about anything but the color of the dam thing lol...kid's go figure huh...as for me, i got some card stock paper and some sticky dots that give that 3D feel to the card...I got most of what I needed in yesterday's trip to Wally World...I did get an Angus burger from Mc'D's lmao so the trip was worth it I guess..

Well to give you a little insite on this beauty, she is another Barbara Jensen original and one of my favorites, being as I rode a Harley for years (that's a whole nother story an time) lol... take a pop over and see what Barb has up for grabs, her art work is absolutely gorgeous...

Well, with hubby out fishing and me ready to hit the sack (need to take a nap coz he's gonna wanna watch tv when he get's home lol) I will be back with more for you later this week..

I am sitting here while everyone is still asleep and trying to get everything done that needs to be done...I am leaving for the big city today and won't be home until tomorrow evening...I really don't mind, my MIL is one of the best cook's in the world..Chef Ramsey would be so proud lol..

Okay today I have a question for anyone that feels like answering me lol

I tried something different when making this last stamp that I made and I want your HONEST opinions please lol...also I placed it on a white preview and need your opinion on that to please...we had a customer say she was having a difficult time seeing the digi's on the pink background, so thought maybe we should go white with them...what do you think...

Also if you wouldn't mind terribly, could you please tell me what you think of the stamp too, it's a different method of drawing it and I am not to sure I like it like that lol...it's not in the store yet, I wanted opinions on this first...

Okay, off to wake the kids and hubby and shake a tail feather, oh I did not say that did I roflmao...

Been so very long

Well it has been a very long time since I been in here, so I guess you could say I am a bit overdue lmao...Lot's of things have happened in my life..so if you don't have your favorite drink in hand and you want to hear it all, you best go get one...I'll wait here hehe...

Okay this is what happened...(oh welcome back btw lol) Was selling all along in a store called Digital-InkCo, as you guys probably already know...and if you haven't noticed all the DICO things are now gone poof...The store sadly closed down a couple of dayz ago to all of our surprise...Now I can't tell you that I am happy about this decision, but I can tell you that I understand it completely and I do wish Judy the best of luck with her solo adventure...

In the meantime...I think you all know by now that 2 weeks ago today I started a challenge blog...and just a few days before the "news" Sue/BearyDustStamps and I decided we wanted to start a store just for us to have fun in...since the closing, most all of the other girls have contacted us and asked if they could join us in this new adventure of ours...of course we couldn't say no lmao...So now, we are going to still have a fun place for you to shop and play and just be happy...We are not quite in place yet with the new store, but the challenge blog was a HUGE success in our first challenge..

Didn't do a whole lot today, thought about my Mum and all her wonderful breakfast's she use to make me

I can't get it out of my head now lmao...Bless her heart, she turned 88 this year...she live's about 300 miles south of me and I don't get to

Well, glad Christmas is over for yet another year...I hope everyone got just what they were asking for...

I really suck at scanning pictures, but I got two beautiful cards last week from my gal across the pond...

Something a tad different for you today...I created this cute little cherub for y'all, but here's the twist of it...You not only get this cute little guy all wrapped up in a heart with it's on little sentiment, it comes all separated for you too!!! Imagine that...you could use him like you see him, or you can take away the sentiment and add your own, or just take the sentiment and the wrap around heart away too...All included in one little package for you...now if that isn't good enough for ya...I also created this to go with it

You got it, a set of SIX matching papers to go with this little guy...so you got almost everything you need to get started right here in one little (well kinda big lol) zip...or you can use the papers on another stamp that you have, or some other papers to go with this stamp...I call it my

Mix & Match Stuff lol

Now how does that sound? I reckon I am peachy keen lmao...if that is possible after last nite...Went to the hospital to I think, say our goodbye's to my sister in law who is also my very favorite in-law of all time...she is in a bad way and has been for over 2 years now...between strokes and RA and everything else in the medical english language, she either has it or has had it...heavy sigh...

A lady friend of mine wrote to me and asked me if I had anything for a sympathy card...I looked and I did not...hmmm I thought, that should be in a stamp store...so I went and made one up last nite...now the reason she asked me this, is there is a DT member on a challenge site that just lost her little 3 year old boy...and she wanted to make her a card...if you would like to read about it, warning, tis very sad...you can go HERE

I was very touched by this story, it's bad enough when we loose our parents or someone else who is in our lives that have had time to live out their lives, but somehow it is just un-natural to loose our kids first...I could not even imagine that happening to me... Anyway, that is the reason for this stamp...

As for me today, I will be adding another FREEBIE today...but unfortunately, this freebie belongs to another sad story that has touched my life...this one not from the internet but from someone I have known for 15 years...stop back and here her story...

Good Morning Everyone,

Well, I been kinda quiet for a bit..lot's going on...today is my daughter's 16th birthday and I'm feelin' the memories starting to flow lol...I have to ask, where does the time go??? It was just yesterday she was reaching her little pillow hands up to me and wanting to be in my arms...now I'm lucky if I get a small peck on the cheek at bedtime lol...wow they grow so fast...word of advice to all you young mother's "cherish the moments, they don't last forever"

Good Morning All,

Well my niece is due in Februrary and I was recruited again to make the shower favors lol...So, I got "Baby" on my mind and thought this would be a cute card. Probably see alot more baby stamps coming your way....

It's 5:30AM here in NY and a wee bit chilly, but today is early dismissal day which means for us bus driver's it's only one run this afternoon...woo hoo...Alot more kids on the bus, but once they all get delivered, I"M DONE lol... Found out two days ago that the elementary has detected several cases of the swine flu and yesterday one of the kid's told me it has slithered into the middle school...I have one kid in middle school and one in high school...being a small town, school is one building housing from Pre-K right up to Sr.s...I am debating whether or not to keep the kid's home today...They both love school, well I should say they love the social aspect of it anyway lmao...So I guess that probably won't happen today...But it's pretty scary havein them subject to this dreaded disease..

Okay, gotta stop rambling now...time to get ready and go..
